The 2002-2003 Mount Si Cheer Squad recently returned from the Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp (UCA) held at Western Washington University laden with eleven ribbons, a trophy, and three All-Star selections.

Squad members are seniors Amanda Edwards (captain), Alisha Frelich (captain), Charlie Bond and Alyssa Powers; juniors Kristin Heath (co-captain), Angella Culic, Courtney Fawcett, Tara Fish, Katie Gorton, Jennifer Riley and Natalie Sinclair; and sophomores Michelle Avery, Gerard Boulanger and Julia Roberts.

With only three returning members, the squad worked diligently all week learning cheers, chants, dances and stunts and garnered a "Superior" overall rating. Frelich, Boulanger and Heath were chosen as "All-Stars" following a try-out process with only 7 to 10 percent of camp participants awarded this honor.
