Youth soccer jamboree 2002

The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association, held its annual jamboree last weekend at various sites around the Valley. More than 1,100 players on 135 teams participated in the event, posing for team and individual pictures then playing games.

There was also a bake sale that raised a record $1,444 in funds that will be used to support scholarships for families that need assistance with registration fees.

Players also had an opportunity to test their talents in three different skill contests; speed shot, dribbling course and shooting accuracy.
