Track team remains undefeated

The Mount Si girls' track team remained undefeated last week by beating Interlake 84-62. Shannon Posey was a triple winner in the shot, discus and javelin to lead the 'Cats. Posey had personal bests in the discus at 1,008 feet, 2 inches and the javelin at 130 feet, nine inches.

Nicole Remish won the 100 and 200 meter and anchored the winning 4x100 and 4x200 relays.

Kali Roestel was a double winner with a leap of 15 feet, 2 inches in the long jump and 29 feet, seven inches in the triple jump. Jessie Oliver ran a great time of 47.7 seconds to win the 300-meter hurdles and Ellie Allen captured the 1,600 meter in a time of 5:30.

Meaghan Dunklee and Tove Garhart both set personal bests in the pole vault at eight feet, six inches.
