Stephanie Turner wins accolades

Stephanie Turner has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-West Region teams. Turner was a first-team selection.

Turner, a senior from Snoqualmie (Mount Si High School), was named to the all-region first team for the second straight year. She had 277 kills with a 27.9 percent hitting percentage, 37 ace serves, 53 digs and 32 total blocks in 66 games. Earlier this week, she was named to the Northwest Conference all-conference first team.

Turner has also been named the Player of the Week in the Northwest Conference.

Turner led the Lutes to two conference victories last week. She hit .390 with 38 kills, eight service aces, five digs and five blocks in eight games.

The Lutes defeated Pacific on Friday in three games and claimed a come-from-behind five game victory over George Fox on Saturday. The matches were the final contests of the season for the Lutes.
