The Wildcats girls' junior varsity hoops team had two chances to grab the victory in the end, but failed to do so and fell to the Cougar junior varsity team, 28-27. Meghan Cavanaugh led the Wildcats with eight points, and Tephra Brune picked up seven rebounds. Hannah Hames led Mount Si in assists with three. All three players are sophomores.

The game marked the junior varsity girls' basketball head coaching debut for Larry White. The Wildcats' head varsity girls' softball coach adds the basketball post to his coaching duties this year at Mount Si, replacing Tina Washington, who is now the head girls' varsity basketball coach at Eastside Catholic.
