The Mount Si girls' golf team did well in their jamboree at Mount Si Golf Course March 13.

Katie Somers shot a 39 to take top individual honors in the event, which pitted the Wildcats against Valley rival Cedarcrest and Kingco rival Mercer Island. The jamboree does not count in the league standings. Overall, the Islanders won the team title, scoring a 223 to Mount Si's 247, lowest score being best. The Red Wolves rounded it out with a score of 272.

For the Wildcats, Jen Sanford tied for second overall with a 42, Jodi Smith shot a 51, Kaite Stapleton fired a 55 and former Mount Si volleyball player Noel Walter in her first varsity golf action shot a 60.
