The season opened on a bit of a sour note for the Mount Si Wildcats girls' volleyball team last Tuesday night as they were swept in three games by a group of ladies from across the Cascades.

The Eisenhower Cadets, a 4A (big-school) member of the 3A/4A Columbia Basin League from Yakima, made their way over the Pass and left with a nice 25-22, 25-28, 25-21 victory.

"We just need to serve the ball in play and we need to not beat ourselves," said Mount Si coach Bonnie Foote. Senior Alisha Larion added, "It was not the best game, but we're going to come back a lot better."
