Mount Si hasn't really flexed its muscles in league action yet. A close match to Newport, which Mount Si won due to forfeits, didn't test the will of the Wildcats. Skyline, on the other hand, coming off of a state championship in football, has been a decent opponent in previous years. But this year, the Wildcats made short work of Skyline, winning 55-15.

The Wildcats racked up four pins and four decisions to the Spartans, as well as gaining the benefit of three Spartan forfeits. Skyline had pins at 171 and 189 pounds, as well as a decision at 160.

Starting off the night was Hunter Woldseth going against Skyline's Ryan Adamson. Woldseth was quick to make his moves, turning Adamson and pining him only 17 seconds into the match. Ryan Ransavage followed suit at 285 pounds against the Spartans' Brian Harrison. Ransavage controlled the match quickly with a takedown, and a minute later pinned Harrison.
