Mount Si Fish and Game Club’s 72nd annual Kids Fishing Derby is dawn to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Snoqualmie Police station ponds, off Douglas Avenue on Snoqualmie Ridge. Participation is free for youngsters ages 5 to 15. Children can catch fish and weigh them in, with the biggest catches netting prizes.

The club has hosted the derby every spring for decades as a way to promote family fishing and outdoor activity.
