Cedarcrest High School's varsity Lady Red Wolves finished their regular season with a record of 18-2 overall and 13-1 in league to tie for the Cascade Conference Championship with Archbishop Murphy.

It is the first league girls basketball championship in Cedarcrest High School’s history.  They are now the number-one seed in the Northwest/Cascade districts playoffs and will host Bellingham on Saturday, Feb. 9. Game time is 7 p.m. in the Red Wolf gym.

Last week, the Lady Red Wolves defeated Kings by a score of 50-46 as Sarah Stauffer scored 18 and Susan Kenney added 16.  Cedarcrest also beat Lakewood 56-30, as Susan Kenney scored 21 and Kailyn Campbell contributed 10.  Cedarcrest has been ranked in the state’s top ten all season and is ready for post season, says head coach Brad Knowles.
