The seventh grade Wildcat Select club girls basketball team traveled to Ferndale last weekend, winning the Chelsey Ebert Ferndale Jam Basketball Tournament.

Wildcat Select competed in a field of eight teams in the Gold Division, winning four of five games. They played Edmonds Sports Academy for the Championship on Sunday afternoon and won by 6.

The win was especially sweet because the girls had lost to Edmonds by five in their first game at the tournament, coaches said.
