The Mount Si wrestling team placed two and emerged 11th out of 32 teams at the Best of the West Tournament, held December 22 and 23 in Pasco, Wash.

On the 22nd, Mount Si finished two-and-two in team duals, giving up four forfeits due to illness. Still, the Wildcats managed to hold their own against good competition, coach Tony Schlotfeldt told the Record in an e-mail.

On day two, Mount Si claimed two placers in a single-elimination tournament. Heavyweight Josh Mitchell won his 285-pound weight class, while fellow Wildcat Eli Clure placed fourth at 106.

Mount Si is home this week, facing Interlake at home, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4.
