The Snoqualmie Ridge Turkey Trot is Saturday, Nov, 12, starting at the Cascade View Elementary School bell tower.

The children's 1k race begins at 9 a.m., the 5K run starts 15 minutes later. A pancake feed follows at 9:30 a.m.

Organizer Sean Sundwall expects about 900 runners.

All children's runners receive a medal. Walkers and strollers are welcome, but no dogs.

Now in its fifth year, the race benefits the Parent-Teacher-Student associations of all Snoqualmie Valley elementary schools. The school with the most adult and child registrants will receive a $500 bonus from TPC Snoqualmie Ridge.

To register, visit http://www.runsnoqualmie.com, or visit Footzone stores in Bellevue, Redmond and Issaquah, or the five Valley elementary schools.
