From an introduction to equestrian competition four years ago, Valley teen Brianna Trotto is now competing at the top level as a Morgan horse rider.

Trotto, a Mount Si High School senior, recently qualified for the Morgan Grand National/World show, to be held this October in Oklahoma.

Taking part in the United States Equestrian Federation's High School Athlete program, Trotto competes at the Class A level of Morgan Horse shows and has been very successful this year.

She has won several champion and reserve champion awards, and will compete in two regional horse shows in August.

Trotto plans on attending college to study and combine sports medicine, which she is studying in high school, and equestrian science.  She would like to work in rehabilitation of horses and people. Trotto wants to continue her riding and competing at a national or college level.
