Back for a second year, the Cinco de Mayo Half Marathon and 8k race returns to Snoqualmie on Saturday, May 7. All events start and end at Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie. The beneficiary of this year’s event is the Mount Si High Track team.

New for this year is a timed, certified Kids Mile sponsored by Kirby Nelson Orthodontics. Past Run Snoqualmie events have featured non-competitive, non-timed one-kilometer runs, but this event will be a timed one-mile race with prizes for winners in each age group. All Kid’s Mile finishers will receive a medal honoring their achievement.

Discounted online pre-registration is open through Sunday, May 1. Day-of-race registration opens at 7 a.m. Saturday morning inside the Mount Si High School gymnasium. The entry fee for the half marathon is $70 which includes a shirt and medal for all finishers. The entry fee for the 8k is $30, and includes a shirt. The Kid’s Mile costs $15 and includes a shirt and finisher’s medal.
