Middle school basketball: Hawks, Ravens split wins

Chief Kanim Middle School and Twin Falls Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade boys teams split wins during play Thursday, Feb. 10.

The Chief Kanim Hawks’ eighth grade team controlled the boards and played aggressive defense in their match-up, coach Chris Blake told the Record. Twin Falls’ seventh grade team won their game.

Eighth grade Kanim standounts included Curtis Handy with 19 points and six steals, Max Adamson with 15 points, Cade Renicker, Colin Brown, Will Raymond and Bjorn Stai with six points, and Justin Klock and Royce Schwartzenburger with two points.

Seventh grade Chief Kanim standouts included Danny Tomson with 15 points, Cam Page with seven, Connor Schattenkerk and Matt Myers with four, George Corriveau with two points and four assists, and Parker Ivan and Cory Cotto with two points.
