Free Friday at Boeing Classic
August 24, 2010 · 2:06 PM
Admission to the Boeing Classic golf tournament is free to all comers this Friday, Aug. 27.
The “Free Friday” promotion is in partnership with Golf Galaxy. Fans will have the opportunity to watch top players including Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer, Tom Kite, Loren Roberts, Mark O’Meara and Fred Funk.
“Free Friday is the perfect way to thank those who have supported the Boeing Classic the past five years, and also give those who haven’t been out to the tournament yet an incentive to see for themselves what a great event we have every year right in our backyard,” Tournament Director Michelle DeLancy said.
Competition starts with the distinctive appearance of a Boeing 777 jetliner. At 11:20 a.m., the airplane, provided courtesy of The Boeing Company, will fly at about 1,000 feet over the area before circling the course at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, lining up with the 18th fairway, and flying up and over the clubhouse.
