Sometimes it takes the tragedies around us to appreciate the men and women who protect and serve our community.

The recent and very sad events in Seattle point out the dangers that our police officers and fire fighters face every day they put on a uniform.

As a community, we are fortunate to have the protection and peace of mind that local police and fire services make possible. Don’t take them for granted, tell them thanks and wish them a safe day.
