Celebrate patriot's day at Snoqualmie Ridge, Carnation

Don’t forget to take part in the Carnation Fourth of July celebration, and if, you’re a Snoqualmie Ridge resident, the annual community parade.

On the Ridge, the community parade rolls at 10 a.m. Saturday, centered on the neighborhood marketplace. A Fourth of July celebration continues to 2 p.m. at nearby Community Park.

Carnation’s big day is on a Sunday this year. The event includes a rollicking fireworks display, town breakfast, senior center strawberry shortcake feed, car show, fun run and plenty more. See all the details in this week’s paper.

Festivals like these provide a relaxing way to meet your neighbors and bring communities together. If you get a chance, thank the volunteers who make these events happen.
