I would like to thank the greater Snoqualmie Valley for its support with our Tsunami Relief fund raiser on Sunday, Jan. 9, at North Bend Bar and Grill.

The servers donated half of their tips to the relief effort and management matched the funds raised. I am proud to say that we were able to raise $2,208 for those affected by the earthquake and resulting tsunami. I also would like to recognize server Liz Vollbrecht for bringing the idea forward and organizing such a successful event.

We donated our funds to Mercy Corps (www.mercy-corps.org) through Bank of America who will forward the funds to their account. Thank you again for your thoughtful and appreciative support.
