Board member wants to 'Keep Kim Horn'
October 3, 2008 · Updated 2:49 AM
I am writing you today as a friend and local citizen to ask for your help to "Keep Kim Horn" on the Snoqualmie Valley school board.
Kim is a team player, a critical thinker with high standards and a mom with real classroom teaching experience. She brings fresh insight, positive energy and a deep sense of commitment to what's best for kids across the Valley. She uses her influence to strengthen relationships and build cohesiveness.
She has a proven track record as a hard working and dedicated volunteer in leadership roles on the Schools Foundation, Voters for Excellence and district committees. Her work has made this a better district. Her work on the board brings that positive energy to a new level.
Though Kim has only served since January, she successfully navigated a tough learning curve in what has been the most challenging of my eight years on the board. Her influence has made us an even better board.
Keep Kim Horn.
