The Panther Pride Unicycle Team would like to thank those in the community who generously supported our May 20 and June 3 combination rummage sale, bake sale and car wash. A very special thanks to the North Bend QFC for providing us the space for our fund-raising events.

A dedicated team of local unicyclists, the Panther Pride Unicycle Team based at North Bend Elementary School, is raising money for trips to the national and international unicycling competitions this summer. The first trip, to the 2006 North American Unicycling Championships and Convention, is planned for June 30 to July 5 in Memphis, Tenn., and will draw some of the best teams in the nation - Panther Pride included. The second trip, in late July, is to the 13th International Unicycle Convention and World Championships (UNICON) in Langenthal, Switzerland. This is the "Olympics" of unicycling. Many of the riders will not only be representing Panther Pride and Snoqualmie Valley, but have also been selected to represent the United States in multiple events.

The Eagles Club in Snoqualmie will be sponsoring a pancake breakfast fund-raiser for Panther Pride on Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to noon. Bring family and friends and see some of the unicycle riders perform while enjoying your breakfast.

To contact Alan Tepper for more information about the Panther Pride Unicycle Team, call (425) 831-8384 or e-mail teppera@snoqualmie.k12.wa.us. We appreciate your continuing support. Hope to see you there.
