Golf boosters thank tourney sponsors

Hillary Clinton may have entitled her book "It Takes a Village," but
our community is proof-positive that the village exists. Businesses, friends
and neighbors unquestionably support the young people in their efforts to
strive for success.
On Aug. 12, the Wildcat Golf Boosters hosted a tournament
at Mount Si Golf Course to raise funds for the Wildcat golf team. Thanks
go to Adair's on the Green, Mount Si Golf Course and Matt Campbell,
Blimpie's, North Bend QFC, Rod's Auto Care, DuPont, Welches, Frankie's
Pizza, Mortgage Lending Source and the countless community members
who played or sponsored players. It was a fun tournament where
participants walked away from a great day of golf, a fabulous meal at Adair's and
prizes donated by our sponsors.
Because of their support, the Wildcat Golf Boosters were able to
purchase the 17 members of the team shirts, hats, and we are ordering
varsity golf bags proudly displaying the Mount Si name.
You stand behind a very young, dedicated group of golfers. The
Varsity squad is made up of juniors, sophomores and a freshman. To
date, the team has a 3-0 record with Mount Si players named medalist in
each match.
Come on out to the Mount Si Golf Course and see these young men play.
