I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mount Si Senior

Center and the North Bend Parks Department for sponsoring our

first-ever Farmers Market the past few Saturdays. It was wonderful to have

vendors from Walla Walla, Yakima, Monroe, Duvall and more locally.

A big thanks to Kaaren Lee and Marie Wan of the Parks

Department, who stayed on-site every Saturday to see that vendors had what they

needed. The price for the vendors for the booths was very reasonable and

the weather was great every Saturday.

I hope the local shoppers enjoyed all the fresh produce that came in

each week. I particularly was fond of the baby bok choy and Yukon gold

potatoes. The armloads of flowers that were purchased every Saturday

must have really livened up many homes in the area.

Thanks again for a great job, and I look forward to next year.
