Frosh football team deserves better

I'm writing this letter to say isn't it funny how our Mount Si

freshman football team, who are 6-1, can't even play a home football game at

Mount Si. They get to play at SMS.

These boys worked very hard this year to have a winning season.

They have so much pride for their school and their team, yet they get to

play these other schools at SMS. They don't even get to play one game

on their home field under the lights.

Yet, we let the middle school teams play one of their games there, which

I think is fine; the middle schools get to play the "Battle of the Birds"

under the lights. But please, give these boys an opportunity to play their

home games at Mount Si. There must be something we can do to make this

happen.

I know it is too late for this season, but I really hope the future

freshman Mount Si football teams are allowed to play on their home field.

A big thank you to the freshman coaches; you are great coaches.

You have given these boys and parents such a great season of memories,

something that will stay with us and the boys for a very long time.
