Watch out for children walking to school

A reminder to drivers that with school back in session, they can


expect to see more kids along the roadways. For those children who live


close enough to school to walk, this can be a hazardous time of year. Be extra


careful. Also obey the 20-mph speed limit in the school zones.


Officers working in the city of Carnation will be enforcing the


20-mph zone on SR 203-Tolt Avenue at Morrison Street. This is in front


of Carnation Elementary. We want the drivers that travel this highway


to know that these children's safety is a priority for us. Thank you.
