Shelter still has needs
October 3, 2008 · Updated 12:39 AM
On behalf of the House of Hope "Snoqualmie Valley Support Group," this is to thank you for the July 9 story, "Valley group seeks to build second shelter for women."
Donations are being received almost daily contributing to the funds necessary for completion of the new home. However, there is still a long way to go toward the $107,000 in new contributions necessary to finish the facility. Most important is a reminder to readers that this is a situation where even very modest donations will add up quickly through the matching funds program.
Opening of the new home will be a major addition to the availability of this important Sno-Valley social service dedicated to healing the broken hearts of the women and children who come there seeking shelter and a new life.
