I want to thank Kim Howard of Three Rivers Rescue and the Snoqualmie Valley Record for the monthly columns that Kim is writing for your Living insert. It is rare and refreshing to read such straightforward writing in any context. Not that it is easy reading. It boggles the mind what people do out of ignorance to the domestic creatures we have bred to be so docile and dependent.

Thank you Kim, for all that you do for our community. I know it is difficult and must be painful work. Every week we see another lovely dog or kitty who needs a home because you are there to foster them. I hope that the well of people who adopt these wonderful animals never runs dry.

Please keep on telling us how it is in the Valley and what we can do to better care for our animals, and let us know how we can help you continue your great work.
