Points needed to be made

I wanted to express my support for Jack Webber's recent guest editorial. Several of the points he made were not popular, but they needed to be made.

I agree that it is important to buy locally, but only if it makes sense. Paying an excessive price for gas to get "free" fireworks is not a good deal. Also, leave Tollgate Farm the way it is. It is already beautiful, and little would be gained by defacing it.
