Every year my children and I attend the parades in town and every year we stand as the parade starts because the American Flag signals the start of each parade. I am sure I'm not the only one who noticed that there was no American flag in either the Snoqualmie Railroad Days parade or the Festival at Mt. Si's.

Why did our towns not honor the long standing tradition our country has?
