Robert A. Westlake

Robert A. Westlake (Bob), formerly of Preston, loving father to Steven, James and David, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Delphine who passed in June of 2009. Bob was born in Honolulu, HI, into a military family (Victor and Josephine Westlake).

In addition to being a devoted and loving husband and father, Bob was a member of Preston Baptist Church which later became Raging River Community Church. He was particularly proud of his part in the church’s outreach ministry, helping with ministry at Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. Precious times were spent in retirement watching his three grandchildren – Kyle, Jeremy and Monica. Many days were spent taking them on field trips to parks or Seattle area sights. Bob also loved the Mariners over the years and watched them till his passing. Bob enjoyed the ocean very much taking his family to Cannon Beach, OR most summers to enjoy the sereneness of the area and study the bible each day.
