She was born to Richard Zemp and Alma Adolfson on February 26, 1933 in Snoqualmie, Washington. Alma attended Mt Si High School and went on to a successful 49 year career at the Weyerhaeuser Corporation. After retirement, she relocated to Green Valley, Arizona.

She married Bill (Merle) William Davis on October 21, 1950 in Carnation, Washington enjoying 61 years of marriage before Bill preceded her in death in 2011.

Alma is survived by her dearest companion James H. Mauldin, son Jeffrey W. Davis, her beloved granddaughters Avery and Caroline Davis; sisters Margit Halverson and Josephine Anderson and many cherished extended family members. Her brother Richard preceded her in death.

Alma cherished her Swiss heritage and kept in regular contact with her extended family there, travelling to explore Switzerland and visiting with relatives. She loved to cook and entertain with friends and family. Always inquisitive, she introduced PC’s into her department at Weyerhaeuser, and used those skills to study genealogy which also became a passion for years. She was a wonderful friend to all who knew her and will be missed by all.

Services are not planned and donations, if desired, may be made to your favorite charity. The family wishes to thank everyone for their condolences, thoughts and prayers.
