Snoqualmie reminds citizens that all aerial fireworks are illegal in the city

The Snoqualmie Police and Fire Departments will be focusing on fireworks safety and enforcing fireworks laws this July 4.

The only legal fireworks that citizens can discharge in Snoqualmie are ground effects and hand-held sparklers. All aerial fireworks are illegal. Those in possession of aerial fireworks are subject to a $250 fine, with a $750 fine for every effect that is discharged.

To safely celebrate Independence Day, Snoqualmie will host the second annual professional public fireworks display in Snoqualmie, Red White and Boom, the evening of July 4 at Snoqualmie Community Park, 35016 SE Ridge St. on Snoqualmie Ridge. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a safe, all ages fireworks show.

Red, White & Boom is organized by Serve Snoqualmie with sponsorship from local organizations and businesses, along with citizen donations.
