With the arrival of the holiday season, the Snoqualmie Parks and Recreation Department and the Snoqualmie Ridge Residential Owners Association have announced the fourth annual Snoqualmie Holiday Lights Contest.

Any house, business, neighborhood or community organization in Snoqualmie is eligible to compete. The categories entries will be judged on are creativity, originality, thematic elements and overall design quality.

All entries are due by 4 p.m. on Dec. 2, to the Parks and Recreation office. By Dec. 12 all buildings must have their lights set up. Judges will be evaluating the entries from 6 to 9 p.m. between Dec. 13 and 15.

To enter, fill out an entry form and email it to Larry White at lwhite@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us, drop it off at Snoqualmie City Hall, or mail it to PO Box 987, Snoqualmie WA, 98065. Entry forms are available at www.ci.snoqualmie.wa.us/CityDepartments/ParksRecreation/SpecialEvents.aspx.
