Police respond to reports of ‘extreme’ fireworks |Police Blotter

Dec. 31

Unknown visitor: At 9:02 p.m. at Doone Ave. SE, a caller reported someone was on her porch and that she was scared. No other info was given to responders. There was no one found on her porch or on foot. There was frost all over porch and surrounding area. No footprints were found.

Fireworks: At 6:54 p.m. at LA Forest Dr. SE and SE Cedar Falls Way, there were reports of fireworks from an anonymous caller. There was nothing illegal observed. No citations were issued.

Extreme fireworks: At 9:08 p.m. at SE 10th St. and SE 10th Circle, reports of “extremely large fireworks” coming from behind a residence on 10th.

Jan. 1

Welfare check: At 12:33 a.m. at 46600 SE North Bend Way, caller is afraid person on bench for two hours may freeze to death. Person is covered by blanket and is not one of the “regulars.” Subject is slumped over, but moving and described as “volatile.” Subject said he was waiting for a ride from Ellensburg and refused help. Subject was left alone.

Strange circumstances: At 3:12 p.m. at 461 South Fork Ave. SW, subject is inside their vehicle outside of the Mongolian Grill. The gold Lexus houses one male passenger, a female driver, lots of garbage, a live rabbit and animal feces. Subjects moved along.

Jan. 2

Gasoline needs: At 7 a.m. at 7824 Center Blvd. SE (Snoqualmie Library), there were reports of a damaged gas line on a Chevy 3500 van. Someone attempted to syphon gas from the car.

Mailbox stolen: At 10:56 a.m. at SE Beta St., a caller reported their mailbox was stolen, along with the mail inside of it.
