Police arrest North Bend man who threatened noise-makers with a handgun

A North Bend man was arrested early this morning, (Thursday, Nov. 3) after threatening several people with a handgun. The 26-year-old man was apprehended at 3:45 a.m. in his apartment in the 400 block of S.E. North Bend Way, which also contained two women, ages 24 and 31, and a 13-month-old child.

The incident began around 8:45 p.m., when Snoqualmie Police responded to a noise complaint in the area. They spoke with four men and told them to keep the noise down.

At 10 p.m., police received multiple 911 calls from the same location, reporting that a man with a handgun was threatening the subjects from the noise complaint. When police arrived they learned that the armed man had pointed his gun at another man’s head before going back to his apartment.

Snoqualmie Police called for the special operations team of the Coalition of Small Police Agencies, which tried to contact the subject in his apartment. When their attempts to contact the man failed, the entered the apartment and took him into custody without incident.

He was booked into King County Jail on a charges of first-degree assault and possession of a stolen firearm.

Police are continuing to investigate the case, with more charges possibly pending.
