Planning meeting for youth in crisis pilot project is Jan. 17 at Si View Community Center

King County Council District 3, covering the Snoqualmie Valley, is launching a pilot project on helping children in crisis. To launch the effort, the King County Department of Community and Human Services will host a planning session to gather public input on the Youth and Young Adult Trauma Response project, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Si View Community Center, 400 S.E., North Bend.

The project brings together law enforcement, EMTs, hospitals, youth and young adult serving agencies, the faith community, and community members to make certain that all children in King County involved in crisis situations receive the care they need.
