Monday, Feb. 6

Assault: At 7:24 p.m., an in-progress assault was reported at SE North Bend Way, North Bend. After a collision, the drivers of the vehicles involved engaged in a verbal argument. An employee at the location tried to break up the argument and was pushed by one of the drivers. Police removed the driver from the business and banned him from returning for one year.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Dangerous animal: At 11:26 a.m., a bobcat was seen near a pea patch behind a home on Stellar Way SE and SE Osprey Court, Snoqualmie. The bobcat went back into woods before the caller reported the sighting. The caller said it was not aggressive.

Parking problem: At 1:25 p.m., police were called to report a vehicle parked in front of a mailbox for 24 hours on SE 140th Street, North Bend. The caller said a person ripped off the impound notice placed by officers. The registered owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

Thursday, Feb. 9

Welfare check: At 10:59 p.m., a man dressed in all black walking in the middle of the road on W North Bend Way, North Bend, was reported to police. The caller said the man looked “messed up.” Police contacted the man, found he was walking to a local shelter, and advised him about walking in the road.

Friday, Feb. 10

DUI: At 4:56 p.m., a report of a woman drinking a bottle of wine as she drove along the 7000 block of Center Boulevard SE, Snoqualmie, was called in to police. She was later reportedly seen drinking box wine while turning toward I-90. Police were unable to locate the driver.

Friday, Feb. 10

False alarm: At 2:13 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to PSE maintenance shop for an automatic fire alarm. Nothing was found upon investigation and the system would not reset out of trouble mode. PSE was called and told to have it looked at by a technician.

Monday, Feb. 13

Water line: 11:39 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched for a water problem on Olmstead Pl SE. Upon arrival, the crew was met by the home owner who was having a washer and dryer installed and the cold-water line broke. The crew helped the homeowner remove the water and move boxes in her garage to decrease damage.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

Burn complaint: 1:19 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to a burn complaint on SE Fish Hatchery Road. The crew found a construction company with a legal burn and permit.

Medical aid: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to nine (9) medical aid incidents bringing the total number of calls to date to 143.
