King County Councilmember Kathy Lamberty hosts a listening tour town hall meeting, 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 S.E. River St.

“One of my priorities is to connect with people one-on-one, and to listen to their concerns first-hand,” Lambert said. “I invite anyone interested to stop by and give me their input and comments on local issues and the county’s budget priorities, as well as get more information. I value and want to hear the concerns of residents to help the council make the best decisions for our communities.”

Current county issues that may be of interest include the projected ongoing budget shortfalls, funding for the criminal justice system, and many other policies and services such as solid waste disposal policy.
