King County Executive Dow Constantine will visit Duvall, Carnation, North Bend, and Snoqualmie on Wednesday, Feb. 17, kicking off his tour of regional and rural communities in King County.

Mayor Matt Larson is looking forward to the Executive’s visit.

“We will be honored to host Executive Constantine for a tour of and dinner in Snoqualmie," he said. "I look forward to building a very constructive working relationship with him and his staff.”

During the Snoqualmie tour, Constantine will learn about local land use issues with visits to the Weyerhaeuser Mill Site, the I-90/Highway 18 interchange, the Snoqualmie Ridge master-planned community, and downtown Snoqualmie. Discussions will center on the city’s commitment to downtown revitalization, raising awareness of sustainability issues, and building Snoqualmie’s tourism assets.

Following a tour of the new Snoqualmie City Hall, Constantine will address the Snoqualmie Valley Governments Association during a dinner at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC Clubhouse.
