Water rates going up in Snoqualmie

Residents who live in or near Snoqualmie will pay more this year for their water, sewer and storm water services.

The city of Snoqualmie raised utility rates Jan. 1. Increases pay to maintain the city’s utility infrastructure for current and ongoing demand.

Water users now pay $2.39 per 100 cubit feet of water inside city limits, $2.54 per 100 cubic feet outside city limits. A cubic foot equals 7.48 gallons.

Sewer rates for a typical family residence are about $37 per month, and storm water rates are about $10 per month. Low-income residents and seniors may pay less.
