King County Sheriff's Deputies have a suspect in hand for the Nov. 6 North Bend bank robbery.

Residents who saw newspaper photos of the man who held up the Sterling Savings branch gave tips to deputies, who arrested the North Bend man, in his 50s, on Monday, Nov. 16.

"We've got the guy," said North Bend Police Chief Mark Toner.

The man is currently at Harborview Medical Center for health issues unrelated to the arrest. Charges were expected to be filed Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Investigators with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and sheriff's office believe the man was behind several bank robberies in the area, including a Nov. 9 robbery in Ballard.
