Farewell party planned for Korean visitors

The City of Snoqualmie is bidding farewell to Director Young Hoon Mun, his wife Jae and son Charlie as they return to the Republic of Korea after 18 months of studying, working and living in Snoqualmie.

Mun is the South Korean nation’s director of the Ministry of Public Administration & Home Affairs, and is wrapping up his special assignment to study Snoqualmie’s planning and development practices.

A farewell party is 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Salish Lodge and Spa.

The city will welcome Gil Jae Oh, Manager of International Affairs for Gang Jin, and his son Jin Sol. Mrs. Oh and their younger son will join Gil Jae this December.
