Snoqualmie seeks applicants for tourism funds

Has your group got an idea catering to tourism in Snoqualmie? The city of Snoqualmie may have the funds to get it off the ground.

Snoqualmie’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee has opened the application process for 2010 Lodging Tax funding. The committee is accepting proposals for tourism-related services to be provided in 2010. Local organizations that accommodate activities for tourists and positively impact tourism in the Upper Valley are eligible to apply.

Guidelines and applications are posted on the city Web site,, under the ‘government’ tab. Hard copies are available at city hall, 8020 Railroad Ave. S.E. in downtown Snoqualmie.

Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Submission format and mailing instructions are included in the guidelines.
