District nears final custodian plan

The Snoqualmie Valley School District has almost finalized a plan for custodial services next school year. The district is cutting custodial services by 64 hours a day, which has required a significant reorganizing of custodial employees to maintain the district’s schools.

The district will discuss the plan with the custodial staff this week and make it public next week, Superintendent Joel Aune said.
