June 2, 2009 · Updated 3:10 PM
Three members of the Snoqualmie Valley school board are running for re-election.
Marci Busby, District 4, Dan Popp, District 5, and Craig Husa, District 3, will be on the ballot in the November general election.
Busby, the sitting school board president, was elected in 2005. Popp was appointed to the board in December 2008 to fill Kristy Sullivan’s position. Husa was appointed in February 2009 to fill Kathryn Lerner’s empty seat after she resigned.
The District 1 seat is also open. Longtime incumbent Rudy Edwards has said he will not run for another term. School activist Geoff Doy and Scott Hodgins have said they are running for Edwards’ seat.
Caroline Loudenback, District 2, has two years left in her term.
