Cascade View Elementary School is losing the only principal it has ever known, Tim Nootenboom.

The Snoqualmie Valley School District does not have a successor picked out yet.

Nootenboom will oversee all elementary education for Spokane’s Central Valley School District.

In a letter sent to parents of Cascade View students, he thanked them for their support and promised to work with the school’s new principal on a seamless transition.

Cascade View Elementary School is the Valley’s newest elementary. The school opened on Snoqualmie Ridge in 2005.
