From solar cells at elementary schools, to much-needed modern science equipment at Mount Si High School, the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation is continuing its mission to provide students and teachers with tools for education.

The foundation is holding its major fundraiser for the year, the Spring Fundraising Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 26, at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC golf club.

The event also recognizes the foundation’s three Educators of the Year for 2009.

The schools foundation funds classroom grants, district-wide initiatives and professional development. To learn more or RSVP for the luncheon, visit www.snoqualmievalleyschoolsfoundation.org.
