Driver arrested for hitting man

A Bellevue man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after he struck a pedestrian on the shoulder of State Highway 202 near Fall City last Sunday, Dec. 21.
The driver, Michael Scott, 53, was headed west near 338th Avenue just before 7:30 p.m., when his black Honda Civic went onto the shoulder and struck a 34-year-old Snoqualmie man who was walking along the road.
The Snoqualmie man suffered injuries including a broken leg, and was transported by Eastside Fire and Rescue units to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Scott was arrested for vehicular assault. According to reports from the Washington State Patrol, he did not suffer injuries, and was taken to King County Jail.
Conditions at the time were snowy, but reports did not indicate whether there were any visibility issues in the area of the collision.
