Thursday, Dec. 11

No burglar: At 1:51 a.m., officers were alerted by a neighbor to a possible burglary in progress in the 34300 block of Southeast Aspen Lane. It turned out to be the homeowner attempting to get inside his home.

911 hangup: At 6:32 a.m., an officer responded to a 911 call that was hung up at the 34900 block of Southeast Douglas Street. He was unable to discover the cause.

Sunday, Dec. 7

Intoxicated driver: At 12:59 a.m., an officer was on routine patrol in the 8200 block of southbound 384th Avenue Southeast when he observed a car speeding and driving erratically. Stopping the car, the officer noticed that the driver’s eyes were glassy and could smell alcohol. The woman said she swerved to avoid a rat in the road, then changed her story to swerving to avoid a racoon. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The woman was booked into King County Jail, as her blood alcohol level was too high for Issaquah Jail’s booking standards.

Gunshots: At 7:32 a.m., an officer responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the area of Mill Pond Road. It turned out to be a man hunting ducks in an allowed area.

Saturday, Dec. 6

Impounded car: At 6:37 p.m., police found a 1985 Chevy Blazer parked in the roadway on Southeast Jacobia Street near Snoqualmie Parkway. None of the residents on the street knew about the vehicle, and an impound was requested. Two people arrived and said the car was their friend’s. The car was removed. The car’s driver never arrived, but had multiple warrants for his arrest.

Aid call: At 7:11 p.m., firefighters responded to an aid call.

Tuesday, Dec. 16

Chimney fire: At 2:59 p.m., firefighters fought a chimney fire.

Aid call: At 6:42 p.m., firefighters responded to an aid call.

Sunday, Dec. 14

Medical emergency: At 11:18 p.m., firefighters responded to help a person with a medical emergency. The patient was taken to a hospital in a ambulance.

Saturday, Dec. 13

Attic fire: At 8:26 a.m., firefighters responded to an attic fire.

Motor vehicle accident: At 6:06 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident.

Friday, Dec. 12

Patient assist: At 4:08 a.m., firefighters responded to assist an elderly person.

Fall: At 12:32 a.m., firefighters responded to a fall patient. The patient was transported to an Issaquah hospital.

Burned trailer: At 8:55 p.m., fire fighters responded to a burned out trailer blocking the road. The scene was released to the King County Sheriffs Office.

Fall: At 11:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a fall patient. The patient was transported to a local hospital.
